SPARKS ABA welcomes families to their new location.

SPARKS ABA, a provider of LEARN Behavioral, recently held a ribbon-cutting celebration at its new Learning Center at 3022 Williams Drive, Suite 100, Fairfax, VA 22031. 

Hosted by the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon-cutting celebration was held on June 5, 2026.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Jennifer Rose, Executive Director of Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, shared greetings. Fatima Malik, Senior District Aide for Congressman James Walkinshaw; Rose Lumpkin, District Director for Senator Saddam Azlan Salim; and Fairfax City Councilmember, Anthony Amos shared remarks. Members of the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and other guests attended.

Ribbon-cutting attendees were able to tour the facility, enjoy light refreshments, and meet SPARKS ABA leadership team, Kayla Bagnato, M.Ed, BCBA, LBA, Regional Clinical Director, and Aleksandra (Sasha) Terekhova, M.A., BCBA, LBA, Managing Behavior Analyst.

“We’re honored to be part of this community and grateful to offer life-changing services right here in Fairfax,” said Kayla Bagnato, Regional Clinical Director. “We deeply value the partnerships we’ve built with local healthcare providers, human services, schools, and government. Together, we’re working to create a more inclusive, empowered community for families of children with autism.”

SPARKS ABA is Virginia’s premiere contemporary applied behavior analysis (ABA) provider of center-based autism services for children and adolescents ages 2-18 years. The Fairfax Learning Center provides center-based ABA therapy and on-site diagnostic services, as well as speech and occupational therapy. Special features include an innovative Launchpad Learning Program, a school readiness program for children aged 3 to 6. There is no waitlist, and flexible treatment hours include after-school and evening hours to accommodate busy family schedules. Outside of the center, the Fairfax team offers in-home ABA therapy.

Bridging the gap between ABA and school

The Launchpad Learning Program at the Fairfax Learning Center focuses on children with autism ages 3-6 years old who are ready to transition from a one-on-one learning environment to a group setting to help prepare them for school. With Launchpad, half the day involves group activities with a 3:1 staff-child ratio, developing team skills and independence, and the other half focuses on individual instruction to address personal growth areas. The Launchpad Learning Program ensures children are truly prepared socially, behaviorally, and academically before transitioning into a traditional school environment.

Ribbon Cutting Celebration Held at New SPARKS ABA Learning Center in Springfield, VA

SPARKS ABA, a provider of LEARN Behavioral, celebrated the opening of its new Springfield Learning Center by hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5501 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.

SPARKS ABA is Virginia’s premiere contemporary applied behavior analysis (ABA) provider of center-based autism services for children and adolescents ages 18 months to 15 years. The Backlick Rd. Learning Center is SPARKS ABA’s second location in Springfield.

Hosted by the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon-cutting celebration was held on June 4, 2026.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Holly Hicks Dougherty, President of Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Ricardy Anderson, Fairfax County School Board, shared greetings and remarks. Members of the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce and other guests were in attendance.

It’s a place where children can gain essential skills—and where their journey toward success in school and life begins.” 

The new Springfield Learning Center offers center-based ABA services, SPARK Saturdays (social skills group), and parent education/training. Key features of the Springfield Learning Center include a gross motor space for physical and social development and Launchpad Learning, an innovative school readiness program for children ages 3 to 6. There is no waitlist, and flexible treatment hours are available, including after-school hours, to accommodate busy family schedules. Outside of the center, the Springfield team offers in-home ABA therapy.

Priorities ABA Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Priorities ABA, North Carolina’s premiere contemporary applied behavior analysis (ABA) provider of center-based, in-home, and school-based autism services for children, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate our 25th anniversary of helping children and families grow, learn, and thrive,” said Emily Cogdell, LPA, LBA, BCBA, Regional Clinical Director.

Priorities ABA, a provider of LEARN Behavioral, is proud to announce its 25-year milestone. The organization is celebrating in a unique way by holding themed activities for children and families at their Cary, Fayetteville, and Jacksonville Learning Centers each month throughout the year. For example, in April, Priorities ABA celebrated Earth Day with a fun Scavenger Hunt at each of their Learning Centers.

“Families are excited about all the different themed activities, and the children particularly enjoy the themed activities where they may wear costumes or dress up for the day,” noted Cogdell.

In addition to themed activities for children and families, Priorities ABA staff is celebrating the 25th anniversary by giving back through monthly employee outreach initiatives that support various local community nonprofit organizations. Each month, staff hold a different drive to support the community – from a clothing drive, to a book drive to promote reading awareness, to a food drive for Second Harvest Food Bank in Fayetteville.

Growing & Expanding Services

Priorities ABA was founded in 2001 and primarily served the Greenville area. As one of the earliest team members, Cogdell began working with Priorities ABA in 2004, delivering one-on-one ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum.

“In the beginning, Priorities ABA had a team of four Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and services provided to children were limited to home-based,” Cogdell explained. “This meant that the BCBAs were only able to provide ABA therapy to children a couple of times per week.”

“Fast forward 25 years, Priorities ABA has branched out and is able to help many more families as we’re able to provide services where the children are – whether that’s at one of our Learning Centers, or at home or school,” explained Cogdell, whose team currently works in home, community, and school settings, tailoring ABA programs around the strengths and weaknesses of children with autism.

Priorities ABA is committed to focusing on each child’s unique needs, providing personalized, child-centered care to help them succeed, while also supporting the family.

Priorities ABA provides in-home, center-based, and school-based ABA services at three state-of-the-art Learning Centers located in Cary, Fayetteville, and Jacksonville, NC. In addition to a team of 13 BCBAs, Priorities ABA now employs more than 100 Behavior Technicians (BTs) who provide ABA services to children and families each day.

Cogdell continued, “Many of our BCBAs have been with us for 7 to 15 years. This longevity speaks to the culture we have created. What we do and how we do it is important – we believe in both.”

New Autism Learning Center Opens Doors in Quincy, MA

No Waitlist for Families in Norfolk County Area

Behavioral Concepts (BCI), a provider of LEARN Behavioral, is proud to announce the opening of its new location at 8 Hancock Court, Quincy, MA 02169.

BCI is a leading contemporary applied behavior analysis (ABA) provider of center-based services for children with autism and Down syndrome. The Quincy Learning Center provides Early Intervention, diagnostic evaluations for autism, center-based and in-home ABA therapy to children with autism ages 2-6, and after-school programming for older children.
