- Grassroots efforts began in California (Autism Services staff on West Coast informally began meeting)

- LEARN hosted 12 Diversity and Inclusion Employee Experience focus group calls

- Established 5 DEI Pillars
- Formed Leadership Council
- CEO Michael Maloney announced LEARN’s new DEI Journey to staff
- Launched new LEARN-wide SharePoint site

- Inaugural Leadership Council meeting
- Launched internal DEI newsletter
- Established 5 staff-led steering committees for each DEI pillar

- DEI Steering Committees began meeting

January 2021
- Announced creation of LEARN Future Leaders Diversity Advancement Program with first National University Black ABA Master’s Cohort

- Held first DEI ERG Meeting

- Spanish Language Learning Pilot announced via Babel (50 spots in first cohort) to support Enhanced Language Services initiative
- Annual staff engagement survey included diversity index questions to begin to establish regional baseline on impressions about cultural sensitivity and understanding at LEARN
- National University Black ABA Cohort awardees named
May 2021
- New Chief People Officer hired
- Launched LEARN’s Affinity Group Program
June 2021
- Language Services initiative launched to provide a variety of language and communication support services (including document translations, as well as other state and payor-specific services) across LEARN.

- Diversity: Inclusion in the Modern Workplace training launched for People Managers across LEARN employees

- The Consciously Inclusive Leader™ training held for senior executives with expert trainer/facilitator
