1. Who is LEARN Behavioral?
- LEARN Behavioral is an organization comprised of more than 5,000 professionals who come to work every day to help kids overcome whatever challenges they may face and nurture their unique potential. We work with children in their homes and communities, our Learning Centers, and in partnership with school districts. LEARN has been around for more than 20 years, helping tens of thousands of children and their families find success in school and life.
2. It seems like there are different companies within LEARN, can you explain this?
- LEARN has over 100 local clinical teams that serve their community with compassionate, contemporary ABA therapy for children with autism. Each of these local teams is part of one of our regional brands. Although each brand has a unique approach to the clients and families it serves, they all share the same mission, vision, and values.
- Our brands include Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (BACA), Behavioral Concepts, Inc. (BCI), Priorities ABA, SPARKS ABA, Tandem Therapy Services, Total Spectrum, Trellis Services, and Wisconsin Early Autism Project (WEAP). We also provide services to schools through our affiliated organization LEARN Academy.

3. What positions are available at LEARN Behavioral?
- LEARN offers a wide range of positions working with kids for individuals at the beginning of their careers to those with significant experience. We also have administrative positions for those who want to support our critical work from behind the scenes.
- Our most entry-level position is the behavior technician (BT) role. In this role, you’ll use a form of therapy, known as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to help kiddos build communication, socialization, and self-help skills.

5. What qualifications do I need to apply?
- We have opportunities for almost any experience level—all we ask is that you have a passion for supporting our mission to find success for every child in our care. Take a look at our job postings for specific requirements (some positions, such as those in other departments, have varied requirements).
- To be qualified to work as a behavior technician (BT), you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible to work in the United States, and have a passion for working with children with special needs.

7. If I want to work directly with kids, what schedules are available?
- LEARN offers a variety of schedules* to meet its team members’ needs. We have full-time and part-time opportunities, school-based schedules, evening-only schedules, weekend hours, and many more options for working with children. Let us know your availability in your application, and more often than not, we have a schedule that fits your needs today and into the future.
- *Please note: we ask that all candidates commit to a consistent schedule for at least six months before making any changes.
8. If I am new to the special needs field, what type of training do you offer?
- LEARN offers a variety of training programs for staff new to working with kids with autism and special needs. Our New Hire Behavior Technician Training program introduces staff of all backgrounds to the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management.

10. I have significant experience working with kids. What are some of the benefits with working for LEARN?
- LEARN is a community of professionals like no other. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from across the country and in different specialties. Our team includes BCBAs, psychologists, SLPs, OTs, counselors, and teachers. We work with children as young as 18 months through adulthood.
