In-Home ABA Therapy & Autism Home Support Services
Discovering and Learning—at Home and in the Community
Supporting your family routines and lifestyle
Our Home & Community Services take place in your child’s natural environment, where we work one-on-one with your child for a prescribed number of hours a week. Targeting goals specified in your child’s treatment plan, we integrate contemporary ABA therapy into your typical family routine. One of our exceptionally-trained behavior technicians (BTs) delivers care in your home, under the guidance and supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).
Partnering with Families—and Cultivating Your Child’s Skills
From the moment we start treatment, we serve as your teammate, learning what you need to increase participation in life and reduce stress—and giving you tools and training to continue the work when we are gone. Our services enable your child to:
- Build language and communication skills
- Develop social and play skills, while forming friendships
- Learn daily living and self-help skills, such as toileting and grooming
- Increase flexibility and tolerance for new routines
- Decrease meltdowns, eating selectivity, and behaviors that can interfere with growth and learning
ABA Therapy in Your Community
When ready, we can expand therapy into your community, helping your child participate in society through structured therapy in places like your local library, park, restaurant, or grocery store. Here, we work with your child to practice age-appropriate activities of daily living, such as waiting in line, taking turns, and ordering and paying for food. In these and other community settings, we tailor the setting and activity (and our use of ABA therapy) to your unique family values and lifestyle.

In-Home ABA Therapy: FAQs
What is in-home ABA therapy?
Applied behavioral analysis (ABA) therapy is a therapeutic practice that works to modify behavior to improve your child’s well-being. Through ABA therapy, your child will learn to increase productive behaviors and decrease challenging behaviors. In-home ABA therapy from LEARN Behavioral brings these therapeutic ABA services directly to you and your child at home through early intervention ABA, ABA services for school-aged children, and more.
How does ABA therapy at home work?
ABA therapy at home is broken down into three distinct steps:
- Step 1: A skilled clinician will assess your child’s current state using observation and standardized assessments. Based on this assessment, we’ll work with your family to establish goals and create an ABA in-home therapy treatment plan that’s personalized to your child’s needs.
- Step 2: A highly trained behavior technician will come to your home to work one-on-one with your child. All of our behavior technicians are overseen by a behavioral analyst who will help in their assessment and treatment.
Step 3: We’ll perform continual assessments of your child’s progress and modify autism services as needed. This includes evaluations of goals, your child’s progress in reaching them, and the success of the current treatment plan. You’ll be involved in the process every step of the way.
What are the benefits of in-home ABA therapy?
With ABA therapy at home, children can receive the therapeutic services they need in the comfort of their own homes. They’ll receive the personalized, one-on-one attention they require to thrive. Additionally, parents, siblings, and other family members can remain closely in tune with their child’s treatment.
How much do autism home support services cost?
At LEARN Behavioral, we believe there isn’t a one-size-fits-all treatment plan for childhood autism. Instead, we create personalized treatment plans based on each child’s specific needs and goals.
Make sure to check with your insurance provider since many insurance plans cover ABA therapy, either partially or fully. At LEARN Behavioral, we accept most major insurance, in addition to Medicaid.
In some areas, government programs are also available to provide funding or subsidies for ABA services. At LEARN Behavioral, we’ll give you transparent pricing so you can receive the care your child deserves. Other factors such as insurance coverage may also affect the price of your child’s ABA therapy at home. Depending on your plan, a portion of your child’s treatment may be covered.
Is in-home ABA therapy better than a center-based environment?
There are many different ways to provide ABA therapy: at home, in our Learning Centers, or even ABA therapy in schools. No service is better or worse than any other. It simply depends on your child’s requirements and your family’s needs. Children from busy homes may thrive in the quiet of an autism Learning Center, whereas families with transportation challenges may prefer the ease of ABA therapy at home.
